The second meeting of the National Development Implementation Committee (NDIC) in 2026 was held on Monday, 12 October, at the Kenya School of Government to assess progress in implementing Government priorities and review performance across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs). The meeting was chaired by the Prime Cabinet Secretary, H.E. Hon. Musalia W. Mudavadi, and attended by the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service, Hon. Felix Koskei, among other government officials. The deliberations focused on the implementation of key national commitments, emerging challenges and the need for stronger coordination among government institutions to support timely delivery of planned programmes and services. Key areas of discussion included Kenya Beyond 2030, focusing on alignment with regional and global development frameworks, and the country's preparedness for the anticipated El Niño conditions. The meeting reaffirmed the importance of accountability, strategic planning and inter-agency collaboration in monitoring implementation, addressing bottlenecks and translating Government priorities into tangible outcomes for Kenyans.
